Adaptive Swim Certifications for Groups
Our Adaptive Aquatics Swim Whisperers® Certification provides an opportunity for continuous professional development (CPD) training and helps swim instructors advance their swim coaching careers and better serve communities with diverse learning needs. We offer individual as well as group swim certifications for adaptive aquatics.
We can support your Swim Instructors with advanced adaptive aquatics skills based on time-tested strategies and techniques that teach swim instructors how to overcome the underlying problems seen in students of diverse abilities.
Why is Professional Development for Swim Instructors Important?
Continued learning and development are essential to keep your team’s skills current and up to date.
According to the National Center for Education Statistics, 15% of all public school students received special education services last year signifying a growing trend. And, with 1 in 44 children being diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), it is likely that you are experiencing increased demand for swim lessons that can be adapted for swimmers with sensory and/or motor challenges.
Growing and learning is something we value highly at Swim Angelfish and is evident in the way that we continuously add new and vital content to the Swim Whisperers® Certification Program. We can support your organization by arming your swim instructors with an adaptive toolbox of strategies and techniques to strengthen your swim school’s adaptive swim program.
