Testimonials

Jonathan has been enrolled with Swim Angelfish since July 2016. Before Jonathan began lessons, he was unable to focus, had no safety awareness, and could not swim. He would walk past a pool and just jump in, which is why I knew it was necessary for Jon to learn to swim.

After just 6 months, Jonathan can focus and follow the many directives of the swim instructors. He has learned safety awareness and can swim in 10 feet of water! Jonathan has also learned to float, and this peace of mind is priceless. He is currently learning how to dive!

Swim Angelfish has created the structure and discipline that Jonathan needed in order to learn this important skill. The fact that he constantly asks for his swim class and enjoys it warms my heart, and the wonderful progress is a joy to watch!

Swim Lesson Parent

Today with Cindy was beyond unbelievably exceptional. She was everything I wanted in an instructor and implemented visuals and strategies that I have never seen any instructors do with my son. I literally cried because it was such a success, I know that if he was to keep at it with her that he’d let go of his fear.

Thank you so much for this opportunity.

Jillian, New Swim Angelfish Mom

Just yesterday Michael (Gus’s father) commented to me that the swim instructors of my grandson Gus, are like magicians. We are thrilled with what you are doing with Gus! He came to you unable to put his head in the water and now you have him down for long seconds with weights on his hands trying to pick up stuff from the bottom. You have given us a chance to see how brave he is. You have given him another opportunity to practice persistence. He basks in praise at the end of a lesson. He is unwilling to get on a bike, or a sled, or a swing, or a slide, but this hard work of learning to swim feeds his sense of self. The fact that he can propel himself down the pool with just flippers, barely keeping his head above the water is truly amazing to us. He has had a stated goal of learning to swim for years, and you are teaching him. No one else could, no matter how much time he spent in the water.

Macky, Gus's Grandmother

My son Tate had never been able to successfully get through a single swim lesson before. He either demanded he stay right on steps where he felt safe, or he just couldn’t even follow along due to his language delay. I felt defeated with trying such a variety of swim instructors, and just having no progress. It came to a point where I needed him to learn to swim for safety reasons. I heard about Swim Angelfish from a few friends in town and was able to get a spot for Tate. I remember feeling ecstatic 15 minutes into the first lesson, because he wasn’t crying or leaving the pool. The instructor gently and slowly (and in a fun way!) was able to get Tate off those steps a little bit. Each lesson was a little better and a little better. By the end of the summer he was over in the lap lane, with support from his instructor guiding him…but wow! Such an incredible improvement! In November we did a big family trip to Disney World. Tate was going down water slides by himself, playing pool games with the big kids and jumping right into the pool! We were so happy he could enjoy the whole trip!
