Flexibility will be the key in being able to successfully move in and out of the roadblocks that you will be learning about in our program. There is NO SET RECIPE within this program to overcome a roadblock, but rather several tools and strategies which can address the underlying issue that is causing this roadblock. It will be up to you to maintain the flexibility and implement these strategies within your lessons.
* Upon embarking on this certification, it is imperative that you educate yourself in a swim lesson method or curriculum of your choice. This certification program does not teach a set curriculum but rather offers strategies and a tool box to add to your established swim philosophy. Some options are The American Red Cross (ARC), Starfish Institute (SAI), YMCA, private swim school, franchise, Swim Consultant or some type of formal swim curriculum. It is necessary that you have a solid foundation and understanding of a swim lesson curriculum prior to taking the Swim Angelfish Special Needs Certification.
